Canned Food Drive Was a Huge Success

Thank you to everyone who donated cans and goods for the CSLBU Food bank!

The Helping Hands committee will be organizing an annual sock and toiletries drive again this year, from 11/30-12/11. We’ll try and round up all the goods before the last week of school so Bethune staff has a chance to pass it all out before the holidays. It would be wonderful if Fremont families can start gathering supplies over the break. We'll need toothbrushes and toothpaste, mouthwash, dental floss, soap, shampoo, chapsticks, deodorants, and warm socks in all sizes including children's, women's, and men's. All toiletries and socks must be NEW.

We can also accept small amounts of money on gift cards to local restaurant chains like Subway, Starbucks, Chipotle, etc., - ideally something on the healthier side.

Our Fremont families are so generous and Bethune recognizes and appreciates our friendship. As we all know, this is an especially difficult year so please let's all do what we can to help those in need.
